The charity we would like to focus on this month is ‘The Adventurers Club’.
It’s a kids club based in the Heartsease area that is open to children between the ages of 5 and 12 years inclusive. It is the children’s outreach ministry of Norwich Family Life Church and is held every Wednesday evening.
There is a vibrant program every week including singing, games, quizzes, crafts, DVD’s, talent slots and loads more. The evening always concludes with an aspirational message to encourage and inspire the children. All activities are free and include special events and parties held throughout the year, including a trip to Pleasurewood Hills, where over 100 children are treated to a fantastic day out!
Between 80 and 100 children attend each week and it’s a fantastic opportunity to impact the lives of the children who attend, many of whom come from very challenging backgrounds. Attendance and all events are free for the children. At Hollinger we see it as a great opportunity and privilege to be involved with this great initiative.
